Dr Desharan Naidoo
MBChB (Stell), FCPaed (SA), MMed (Stell)
Dr Desharan Naidoo is a registered specialist paediatrician providing care for newborns, infants, children and adolescents.
Originally from Cape Town, Dr Naidoo completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Stellenbosch University. His experience spans community healthcare, tertiary hospitals and specialist paediatric services across South Africa.
He has a special interest in neonatal care, developmental disorders, respiratory conditions, infectious diseases, childhood neurology and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism spectrum disorders.
His approach combines evidence-based care with a family-centred focus, helping parents feel informed, supported and involved in their child’s healthcare.

Outside of medicine, Dr Naidoo enjoys spending time with his wife and two
sons. Weekends often include cycling, skateboarding and time outdoors with
his family.

patience, care and attention he brings to his work with children and
their families.
